2027 Artist Retreat

🎨 2027 White Mountains Watercolor Retreat

September 9–12, 2027
Purity Spring Resort | Madison, New Hampshire

Join me for four immersive days of watercolor, connection, and lakeside calm at beautiful Purity Spring Resort, nestled near the foothills of New Hampshire’s White Mountains.

This isn’t a rushed workshop squeezed into a hotel conference room.

It’s a thoughtfully curated, all-inclusive creative experience designed to feel spacious, inspiring, and deeply restorative — with room to paint, room to breathe, and room to laugh a little louder than usual.

Come for the art.
Stay for the connection.
Leave with full sketchbooks and a very happy heart.

✨ What’s Included

🎨 Four Full Guided Painting Sessions

You’ll enjoy at least four immersive, start-to-finish watercolor sessions designed to deepen your skills and stretch your creativity.

In addition, we’ll have several breakout sessions for technique refinement, personalized feedback, and creative exploration.

This is real instruction — not surface-level demos.

🖌 All-Day Studio Access

The studio space will be open throughout the retreat for you to paint as you wish.

Want to revisit a technique?
Finish a piece?
Start something completely new at 9pm because inspiration strikes?

The space is yours.

🎁 Premium Artist Gift Basket ($300+ Value)

Each artist receives a curated gift basket filled with over $300 in professional-grade watercolor supplies.

These aren’t sample sizes or “retreat leftovers.”
They’re beautiful, usable tools you’ll continue enjoying long after the weekend ends.

Gift baskets and included items will vary from year to year, as each World of Watercolor retreat is intentionally designed to feel fresh, special, and one-of-a-kind.

🍽 All Retreat Meals Included

All retreat meals during your stay are included — thoughtfully prepared so you can relax and stay fully immersed in the experience.

No scrambling for dinner reservations.
No leaving property mid-session.
No “you’re on your own” gaps.

Just gather, eat well, and enjoy.

🥂 Welcome Reception

We’ll kick things off with a relaxed welcome gathering to settle in, connect, and ease into our creative weekend together.

🧺 Green Room Refreshments

Throughout the retreat, you’ll have access to beverage and snack stations stocked for you at any time.

Think baskets of drinks, light bites, and small comforts — because creativity flows better when you’re cared for.

Each year’s green room is stocked differently and thoughtfully personalized based on guest preference sheets, favorite snacks/drinks, dietary needs, comfort items, and little details that help make the retreat feel extra cozy and welcoming.

🌊 Full Resort Access

Your stay includes access to all resort amenities at Purity Spring Resort, including:

• Canoeing & kayaking
• Row boats
• Indoor pool & hot tub
• Walking & hiking trails
• Tennis & pickleball
• Lakeside beach access
• Shuffleboard, horseshoes, cornhole & more

It’s the best of both worlds: structured creative immersion and relaxed lakeside escape.

📩 How to Reserve Your Spot

To reserve your place, email:

tinawilliamsart@gmail.com

Please include the room type you are requesting.
If reserving a shared multi-bedroom accommodation, include the full names of all guests in your group.

For shared accommodations, full occupancy commitment is required. If a space is designed for three artists, it must be reserved and paid for by three artists. (We adore optimism — but we can’t hold beds on hope alone 😉.)

Once confirmed, you’ll receive a personalized invoice outlining your balance and payment schedule. Your non-refundable deposit is due upon receipt to officially secure your reservation.

💳 Payment & Planning

• $500 per person deposit due at booking
• 50% of remaining balance due 90 days prior
• Final balance due 45 days prior

You may make additional payments at any time in amounts that work best for you — as long as the balance is paid in full by the final due date.

Beginning no less than four months prior to the retreat, you’ll begin receiving preparation emails with travel reminders, packing suggestions, session previews, preference sheet request, and everything you need to arrive calm and ready.

🕛 Arrival & Departure

Registration takes place:

Thursday from 12:00–1:00 PM

The retreat concludes:

Sunday at 1:00 PM

Please plan travel accordingly.

Art Retreat Terms & Conditions

By registering for and/or submitting payment toward a Tina Williams Art retreat (“Retreat”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to the registered guest and, where applicable, all members of a shared-room reservation.

Registration & Payment

Your reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit or payment has been received.

All deposits, installment payments, and final payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions.

Payment deadlines are firm. Failure to make a scheduled payment may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of all amounts previously paid.

If a payment plan is offered, participation in that plan does not alter the cancellation or refund policy. Payments already made remain non-refundable if you later choose or become unable to attend.

Guest Cancellations

Because retreat accommodations, services, supplies, staffing, and other expenses are reserved and paid for based upon confirmed attendance, no refunds will be issued if you cancel or are unable to attend for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, family emergencies, work conflicts, transportation problems, weather affecting your travel, or changes in personal circumstances.

If you are unable to attend, any amounts already paid will be forfeited.

For this reason, travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Travel Insurance

Guests are solely responsible for obtaining any travel insurance they wish to carry. Travel insurance may provide protection for circumstances such as illness, injury, travel interruption, transportation delays, lost baggage, or other events that prevent or disrupt attendance.

Tina Williams Art does not provide travel insurance and cannot guarantee that any particular circumstance will be covered by a travel insurance policy. Guests are responsible for reviewing and selecting their own coverage.

Choosing not to purchase travel insurance does not create an exception to the Retreat's cancellation and refund policies.

Shared & Multiple-Occupancy Rooms

Reservations for double, triple, or other multiple-occupancy accommodations are based upon the total price of the room and the agreed number of occupants.

If one member of a shared room cancels or is unable to attend, the remaining guest(s) are responsible for either:

  1. finding an eligible replacement guest, subject to approval by Tina Williams Art; or
  2. paying the remaining balance necessary to satisfy the full cost of the room.

Tina Williams Art is not responsible for locating a replacement roommate.

A cancellation by one member of a shared-room reservation does not reduce the total amount owed for that room.

The room must be paid in full before any member of that reservation may attend the Retreat or occupy the accommodations. Partial payment for a shared room does not entitle the remaining occupants to use the room or participate in the Retreat.

Any replacement guest must agree to these Terms & Conditions and satisfy any applicable registration requirements before the substitution is considered complete.

Retreat Cancellation or Significant Changes

Tina Williams Art reserves the right to modify the Retreat schedule, instructors, activities, meals, accommodations, or other details when circumstances reasonably require it.

If Tina Williams Art must cancel the Retreat entirely and cannot reasonably reschedule or provide the Retreat, guests will receive a refund of payments made directly to Tina Williams Art for the canceled Retreat within 90 days.

Tina Williams Art is not responsible for airfare, transportation, hotels booked separately, travel insurance premiums, lost wages, or other expenses incurred by guests in connection with attending the Retreat.

Events Beyond Our Control

Tina Williams Art will not be responsible for delays, modifications, interruptions, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, public emergencies, transportation disruptions, utility failures, labor disputes, acts or omissions of the resort or other third-party providers, or similar events.

When reasonably possible, Tina Williams Art will make a good-faith effort to provide an appropriate alternative or reschedule affected Retreat activities. Refunds are not guaranteed for circumstances outside the control of Tina Williams Art.

Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility

Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically and medically able to participate in the Retreat and its activities.

Participation is voluntary. By attending, guests acknowledge and voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with travel, lodging, art activities, excursions, walking, recreational activities, and participation in a group retreat.

Guests are responsible for their own medications, medical needs, mobility needs, and personal care.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, guests agree to release and hold harmless Tina Williams Art and its owner, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims arising from the ordinary risks of participation, except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived.

Tina Williams Art is not a medical provider and cannot provide medical supervision or guarantee access to medical services.

Food, Dietary Restrictions & Allergies

Meals and food service are provided by the resort and/or third-party food-service providers.

Due to the capabilities and limitations of the resort, food allergies and special dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed or accommodated by Tina Williams Art.

Guests with food allergies, intolerances, sensitivities, or medically required diets are responsible for determining whether the available food service is appropriate for them and for making any necessary alternative arrangements.

Tina Williams Art cannot guarantee that food or food-preparation areas will be free from allergens or cross-contact. Resort pricing is all-encompassing and will not be reduced if a guest cannot or does not want to eat the provided meals.

Transportation

Unless specifically stated as included in the Retreat package, guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to and from the Retreat.

Tina Williams Art is not responsible for missed flights, delayed or canceled transportation, vehicle problems, border or immigration issues, passport requirements, or other circumstances affecting a guest's ability to arrive at the Retreat.

If transportation or an excursion is provided by a third party as part of the Retreat, that provider's own terms and conditions may also apply.

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their own belongings throughout the Retreat. Tina Williams Art is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged luggage, artwork, art supplies, electronics, jewelry, vehicles, or other personal property.

Conduct

The Retreat is intended to provide a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Tina Williams Art reserves the right to remove a participant whose behavior is dangerous, threatening, harassing, significantly disruptive, destructive, or substantially interferes with the experience or safety of other guests, staff, instructors, resort employees, or members of the public.

A guest removed for misconduct will not be entitled to a refund.

Guests are responsible for damage they cause to retreat facilities, accommodations, equipment, or property and may be responsible for any resulting charges.

Alcohol

Where alcohol is permitted, guests are responsible for consuming alcohol responsibly and complying with all applicable laws and resort policies.

Tina Williams Art is not responsible for a guest's decision to consume alcohol or for consequences arising from a guest's alcohol consumption.

Photography & Social Media

Photography and video may be taken during the Retreat for Tina Williams Art's business, website, social media, and promotional purposes.

Guests who do not wish to appear in photographs or video should notify Tina Williams Art in writing before the Retreat begins, and reasonable efforts will be made to honor that request.

Guests should also respect another participant's request not to be photographed or recorded.

Artwork & Instruction

Retreat instruction, demonstrations, handouts, reference materials, designs, and other educational materials provided by Tina Williams Art remain the intellectual property of their respective owner and are provided for the guest's personal use unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing admission to the Retreat does not grant permission to reproduce, distribute, teach, sell, publish, record, or commercially use instructional materials provided during the Retreat.

Accessibility & Special Requirements

Guests who require accessibility accommodations or have other needs that could affect their participation should contact Tina Williams Art before booking to determine whether those needs can reasonably be accommodated by the Retreat venue and activities.

Because accommodations and certain services are provided by third parties, Tina Williams Art cannot guarantee that every individual need can be accommodated.

Third-Party Providers

The Retreat may include services provided by independent third parties, including resorts, restaurants, transportation providers, excursion operators, and other vendors.

Tina Williams Art does not control the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers and is not responsible for their services except to the extent required by applicable law.

Guests may also be subject to the individual policies and requirements of those providers.

Changes Requested by Guests

Requests to change room type, occupancy, guest names, dates, or other reservation details are not guaranteed and may result in additional charges.

Any approved change must be confirmed by Tina Williams Art in writing.

Agreement to Terms

Submitting a deposit, installment payment, or full payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The individual making a reservation is responsible for ensuring that all guests included in their reservation receive and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
