My story...

In March of 2020 when the lockdown began, like many others, I began to panic. All of a sudden I found myself going from non-stop activity and work to a complete standstill. In that standstill being inundated with the impending dire events and unknowns I knew I had to do something to preoccupy my mind. Prone to panic attacks, finding something to do was not only a want, but a need. So I turned to art. As a child and teenager I had done quite a bit in oil and acrylics but was never happy with it and never quite understood the medium. It left me frustrated and disappointed.

For some strange reason, during lockdown, I decided to try watercolor. It was like a language I had always known how to speak. Everything made sense. I posted my very first attempt on Facebook and, to my surprise, three people wanted to purchase that piece. In 2020 I sold over 300 pieces of art. At the time, it was meant to be a hobby to keep me busy but over the last few years not only has this become a quickly growing and thriving business, continuing to offer me peace and comfort, but it has for others as well. Teaching watercolor has become just as important to me as growing this business to whatever corners it can reach.

This is proof that it's never too late to try something new. You never know what magic awaits.
